Every morning I stop to get coffee at this bakery. The coffee's so-so, but it's on the way to work and there's is girl there who's always very friendly to me.

She's about 5'6", dark curly hair, pretty attractive...

So every Friday she asks me what my plans are for the weekend, you know, in a making small talk kinda way.

Well, today she said, "so, you gonna be around tomorrow? wanna shoot a game of pool or something?"

Good times.

Although I don't think the lovely Bizbe will find this nearly as amusing as I did.

Here's the deal. She might have been just friendly about it and wasn't really "asking me out." So it would be kinda rude if I had said, "Oh - I'm sorry, I have a girlfriend..." So.

I vaguely said ok and then gave her my number. Hopefully she wont call but if she did, I'd just tell her something came up. I dunno, what do you think?

On other things...

Work has been rough this week. Some genius at work suggested that we test security measure at lear jet terminals on sept 11th. Talk about a bad taste in my mouth. I mean, I understand as journalists we should do things to inform the public, but common, this is just too much.

I cannot begin to discuss the inanity of television news.

So.

As some of you may remember, Bizbe and I are on this atkins diet thingy. It's been almost two weeks now and I do feel a little thinner - however I'm pretty sure alcohol's got a lot of carbs and I've pretty much been a fish this week - thus - the validity of my diet is no doubt in question.

Bizbe, however, is doing great and she's look even better than before...

However, imagine dealing with a girlfriend (during those TOUGH DAYS. Ahem) without chocolate...not a pretty scene.
