Why is that such a romantic movie? I do vaguely remember some comedian somewhere said something about this exact topic. I can't remember what and I can't remember who. So I'm going to take on this topic - at this moment - 1:27 am on a thursday morning when I have to wake up in 4 hours and 23 minutes to go to my girlfriend's grandmother's funeral.

Yeah. My girlfriend's grandmother lost her fight against cancer this past weekend, and the funeral is tomorrow. @ years ago, my girlfriend's grandfather past away. Because of work, I did not attend that funeral

But I will be there tomorrow.

I last saw her grandmother at Thanksgiving. She sat quietly at the head of the table. Her eyes, slowly taking in the image of her children and children's children, gathered before her, enjoying Thanksgiving. She was already really frail then. We all knew that it was going to be her last Thanksgiving.

She was a great, caring, and loving lady.

I already miss her.
