I got a new story idea for november sweeps and I'd like to run it by you guys. It's called Casino Kids.

Here's the deal. Atlantic city's about 45 minutes away, so I go down there to play a little blackjack now and then (when I desperately need money). The last time I was there, I saw something kinda disturbing.

It was about 2:30am and I was in the middle of my "I'm up two hundred bucks and I should walk away from the table before I lose it back" stroll to the bar when I saw 2 kids around 8 years old, sitting on the floor (outside the gaming area) coloring picture books.

They were unsupervised. Left alone while mommy's inside pulling on the iron dick. At first I thought, "man, those kids are up late." But 30 minutes later when I'm walking back these kids were still there! So I went over to ask them where their parents are. (Yes, I know it's not right for a strange man to talk to 2 little kids but I needed to know what the deal was) They told me that mommy told them to stay there and play because mommy had to "take care of something."

Wow.

So I waited with the kids. Sat right next to them and colored carebears. At 4am, an obese woman carrying 3 buckets of coins wobbles up to us.

It was the mom.

I had to restrain myself from grabbing her bucket and belting the coins to her face because she apparently loves the coins more than her children.

But - I simply told her she shouldn't leave her children alone, for any reason.

So the story idea is to walk around casinos at night (with my hidden camera) and watch some of these children being left alone while mommy and daddy is out there losing their college money. Then with a real camera, confront these bastards when they come back. And hopefully, the casinos will start patroling and kicking out parents who leave their kids alone. And social services will see the story and give these aholes a stern warning.

For once I feel like I can use my evil powers for a good cause.

Last friday I tried to warn you people about drinking (liquor) and not drinking (water), I hope you listened. And I will try to listen to my own advice this weekend too.
