Life update.

My boss (the one I've been travelling from city to city with) was approached my another network (peacock) to go and run the station in either la/ny. Normally that would be great news. However, since 1)it's clear that I hate what I do and 2)it's also clear that we have different life views, I would be facing a difficult decision on whether to join him or not...(probably not)

But he's not leaving. Today he told me that "we're gonna be here for a while..."

The good news in that is that I don't have to rush to find a new gig, I can take my time.

The bad news is I HAVE BEEN taking my time and this isn't going to help.

Why? I'll tell ya.

Here's my typical day in the summer time:

I wake up around 10ish. Call my assistant. Check in.

Assistant picks me up around 11:30, we go have lunch somewhere.

We then drive around to check out various story ideas, stopping for coffee, clothing stores, book shops along the way...

I usually get home around 4:30ish.

(yes, I'm waiting for insults and hate mails to come)

I mean, what the hell do I have to be bummed about?!?!!?

You're right. I don't.

I'm going to use this summer to take my time and find something better.
